The Joy of Caring
There is something we often forget: Play β real play β is not just about having fun.
It is also how children learn to connect, express themselves, and work together. Especially at ages 7β12, when they are growing up amid new relationships and emotions.
These lessons don't come from books. They come from experience β in a space warm enough for children to try, to make mistakes, and to be seen fully.
Care for Self
Listening to one's own body, emotions, and needs.
Care for Others
Recognising that everyone has emotions and needs to be heard.
Care for Nature
Feeling oneself as part of a larger world.
β¨ The greatest joy of a child
The greatest joy of a child is to be cared for β and to learn how to care. That is what the Play Session "The Joy of Caring" β JOYFUL CARE project Β· Be.Stu Γ UniqueS β is creating.
A Circle β Playing Together
A circle of children and adults, sitting together, playing together β in a space held carefully so everyone feels safe and free to be themselves.
